 At its launch, the story behind Fortnite's premise was simple: an organization called IO created a battle royale island using Zero Point, a giant ball of energy that connected realities, allowing players to drop into the map and fight back the storm overtaking the island.


Tim Sweeney is the CEO and founder of Epic Games, the company that brought the world "Fortnite."



Development. Fortnite had first been revealed by Epic Games in 2011, considered to be a combination of Minecraft and Left 4 Dead as four players would work together to scavenge resources to built fortifications, traps, weapons, and other objects to survive monster attacks.



Epic Games have big plans for the future of Fortnite. With its massive player base and utterly astounding attendance, Fortnite is definitely not dying. Influencers are simply choosing now to comment on the game's issues so it can improve and thrive more than it ever has.
